Zoning Administration

COURSE GOAL

Every local government in Florida must adopt and implement a land development code. The zoning administrator is primarily responsible for interpreting and applying these land development regulations.

The University of Florida's Urban and Regional Planning Department, a PAB-accredited graduate planning program, has developed a short course for zoning administrators with an emphasis on land development regulation as it is practiced in Florida. The course provides an opportunity to learn the practices and techniques for effective land development regulation from seasoned zoning administrators.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The course is designed for public administrators and private sector practitioners engaged in the process of land development regulation.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS AVAILABLE

This course is certified for AICP Certification Maintenance (CM) credits (6.0 Credits).
