AICP Professional Development: Giving Testimony

COURSE GOAL

Professionals engaged in planning and growth management are often required to provide testimony in depositions or in court. While planners may have significant experience in public hearings, the skills to effectively testify in a deposition, administrative hearings, or state or federal court are somewhat different. The University of Florida's Urban and Regional Planning Department, a PAB-accredited graduate planning program, has developed a short course that provides an opportunity to learn about preparing for testimony and to learn some tips and techniques to guide you through the experience.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The course is designed for for professional planners who give testimony in depositions and court.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS AVAILABLE

This course is certified for AICP Certification Maintenance (CM) credits (3.0 Credits).
