Ethics for Florida's Planners


As part of the Planning Forum, the University of Florida's Urban and Regional Planning Department, a PAB-accredited graduate planning program, has developed a short course that focuses on ethics in the planning process.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The course is designed for planning professionals in Florida.


CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS AVAILABLE

This course is certified for AICP Certification Maintenance (CM) credits (1.5 Credits).


AGENDA

The AICP Code of Ethics will be explored in the context of Florida’s code of ethics for public employees and Florida’s “sunshine,” “public records,” “conflict of interest” and other statutes. Practical exercises will explore ethical issues typically encountered by planning professionals.
